“Peter-Ness”

Simply Marvelous.

We don’t need many words for things that touch us. Another sparkling iceberg in the sands.

Perhaps, one day…

STINNEY IMMACULATE

I wasn’t familiar with the injustice that George Stinney suffered, but I read about it during all the research I did during my traumatization. George Stinney was the youngest human ever executed by the United States. He was only 14. At 14 he was convicted, in a proceeding later vacated as an unfair trial, and executed, for the murders of two young girls in March 1944 in his hometown of Alcolu, South Carolina.

I create this in the summer of 2022 while thinking on what my abuser was trying to do to me.

Dangerous Black Man

nullstep hop’s on the remix for a classic Irving Jones Piece adding his own experience in the form of his abuser’s caricature of him as the “Dangerous Black Man”. Starting mainly in March 2022, my abuser builds a caricature online to make me seem dangerous in order to manifest harm upon me. During this time I’m scared and traumatized to realize the person I trusted for two years was a stranger who only to get close enough to harm me.

“Big Game”

The cover of an upcoming nullstep post.

At 23 years old, I read an article about the murder of a young man about my age at the hands of the Oakland California Police. Oscar Grant. Something shifted in me that day which felt both new and familiar as I sat in the office of my first job outside of university. My eyes darted around and this thought past through and into me—

“Am I being hunted?”

“A Person Too”

“A Person Too” is a quote from a conversation had with a friend after a distressing encounter at a bar in Oct 2021. One night I’ll go to meet up with a new friend and they try to grab and kiss me. I tell them I’m dating someone and the whole situation devolves from there. They’ll get aggressively drunk and start spilling food on me and everywhere. I’ll tell them that they need to leave. Then they’ll demand I walk them home. I refuse. The bar is somewhere I frequent and there’s a few familiar faces from some women I know. They’ll all laugh at the spectacle of me being disrespected.

I am the only one Black. It feels weird.

I’ll have that woman walk home and I’ll leave 15 minutes after. I’ll walk home filled with an anger that keeps exploding in me. A car will almost hit me at one point. I’ll get home and I’ll feel broken. A couple years later I now realize that was all planned to harm me. Likely by Nic and maybe it involved Lianna too. This piece speaks on the access that some people think they have towards you.

After the bar encounter encounter, I tell Nicole as this occurs while we’re still dating. She reacts coldly and I’ll beg for someone to recognize how I feel. I start breaking and having a nervous fallout from an accumulation of how I’m often disregarded and disrespected. This is also after Nicole Block rapes me on June 20, 2022. After my rape she’ll see I’m declining and will pick up efforts in using coercive control to further harm me.

“Finally”

An evolving series that we’re eventually hoping to bring worldwide, merging it with the concept from “Big Game”

“The Devil’s Dance”

We know what a minstrel show is. It’s The Devil’s Dance. It’s a dance where the devil wears the skin of those it’s trying to consume, as it dances around in a garish fashion, doing it’s disgusting work in plain view.

“GOOD GOOD”

Jordan Peele coins the concept of ‘the sunken place’ in his 2017 film “Get Out” that represents a place the soul is trapped when subjugated. But as the soul enters that place, what does the person themselves become? This cover is from “The GOOD GOOD Boy” which explores these very ideas.

“UNTITLED”

do we ever know where things begin if we were never there? well, it never stopped a. buser from getting into thenullsteppa’s narrative huh? upcoming series based on a number of various documents recovered from the borough some call “the private facebook group of nyc”— staten island.

“THE COWBOY”

Ye-haw! It’s the cover for the upcoming nullstep post featuring the Rockville Maryland MoCo-Cowboy himself “Rinny Kin Tim Rinny KinnyKin”

(*reads notes* “we think it’s swedish maybe”)

He told us recently that he was delighted to “meet all you Mofo’s” in his post.

(*reads notes again* that “mofo” part was a little aggressive of him…)
